In 2001 Dani & Susan Melvin started cleaning farmhouses as a way to earn some extra income. When their excellent services started generating more referrals and business than they could handle by themselves, Susan and Dani Melvin realized they had a successful business model and set out to build a company. Utilizing the skills they learned doing good old fashioned farmhouse cleaning, Dust Bunnies Away! expanded into London, Ontario and started years of rapid expansion.
Dani & Susan believe passionately in helping clients with all aspects of their cleaning needs. Dust Bunnies Away! believes it’s important to clean the homes as well as the offices of business owners. And it’s just as important to have carpets and windows cleaned as it is to have kitchens and bathrooms cleaned. Rather than having a narrow focus of only cleaning homes or only cleaning commercially, Dani & Susan believe that if it’s dirty, Dust Bunnies Away! can and will clean it!

Several years of growth and expansion in and around the London market saw Susan take Dust Bunnies Away! to one of the largest cleaning companies in the London area with 2 branch offices in nearby Strathroy and St Thomas. Dani & Susan are proud of the hard work their cleaning teams have done enabling them to grow the business rapidly and successfully.
Throughout the growth of the company, Dani & Susan worked to create a company that exhibited excellence in all areas. Realizing that the best businesses are not created alone, Dust Bunnies Away! constantly sought out the help and advice of mentors and professionals. In 2009 Dust Bunnies Away! brought in Andrew de Boer, a successful local businessman, to oversee franchising the company.
Dust Bunnies Away! will expand their business into other cities and markets by providing new franchisees a proven business model that provides superior cleaning to clients each and every time!
