How long is the process to become a franchisee?
The time from your initial inquiry to your grand opening can be as short as 5-6 weeks to 3 months. Each candidate and their needs and priorities are unique.
What is the initial investment?
The initial franchisee fee is $10,000 which includes 15,000 qualified households. Additional households are available at $0.65 per household. Your total initial investment costs will range from $45,000 to $77,000. This will give you all the tools, equipment, supplies, marketing, and working capital you’ll need to start your business.
What is your Royalty Fee?
We charge a flat 6% Royalty on your revenues. Many franchises have high initial fees and advertise lower fees for revenue levels most franchises will never hit. We believe in offering one low fee and giving all our franchisees the best support in the industry!
How can you offer the best support in the industry?
It’s because that’s what we believe is important! Our commitment is to award franchises to only the best applicants and then give them all the training and support they need to succeed. Rather than just charging a fee to license out our name, we’re committed to working with our franchisees to make Dust Bunnies Away! a strong and successful system for everyone.
What experience do you have?
At Dust Bunnies Away! we’ve been cleaning residential and commercial homes in London and area since 2001. All through that time we’ve been perfecting our systems and processes with franchising in mind. From the ground up we’ve built our company to be easily replicated so you can follow our system and enjoy our success!
What experience do I need?
You don’t need any business or cleaning experience to start your Dust Bunnies Away! franchise. We designed our training system to give you all the tools you need to successfully operate your business. From hands-on practical cleaning training to all the finer points of running a business, we make sure you have everything you need to succeed.
Do I need an office to start my franchise?
No. We’ve designed our system so that you can start your business out of your home. We don’t see the need to burden new franchisees with expensive overhead when they are just starting their businesses. We don’t require an office until after you’ve had the opportunity to build and grow your business.
What makes you different than other cleaning franchisors?
At Dust Bunnies Away! we allow our franchisees to offer a full range of cleaning services to their clients, from residential and commercial to windows and carpet cleaning. Many larger franchises force you to buy additional franchises to offer additional services. We’re the one stop cleaning choice for our clients and we want our franchisees be the same!
Do I have to buy my supplies and equipment through you?
No. Our business is cleaning our client’s homes and offices, not making money selling products to franchisees. We’d rather spend our time helping you succeed than having to manage inventories of products, uniforms and vacuums. We do suggest preferred vendors and we’ll work hard to get best prices for our franchisees, but we don’t sell products to franchisees.
What support do you offer franchisees?
Each franchisee in our system is assigned a dedicated Support Manager to be their coach and work with them to build their businesses. Much as the best athletes in the world have coaches to help them improve their games, we offer our franchisees coaches to help them improve their businesses.
What training do you offer?
Each new franchisee gets one week of comprehensive training at our corporate headquarters in London, Ontario. We’ll also send staff down to new franchisees business in the first couple of months to train them onsite. Each year we have an annual convention where all our franchisees gather to learn ways of doing business better. We’re committed to supporting our franchisees, not only in the initial start-up phase but as long as they are in our system. We work with you to help you succeed!
How will I attract customers?
We’ve designed initial and ongoing marketing and advertising campaigns based on our years of experience to help you attract and retain clients and customers.
